False Rabbit ( Falscher Hase)

This is a favorite in my Family — in English its called false rabbit its a Meatloaf with a surprise in it … sorry no own picture yet

• Ingredients :
• 2 1/2 pounds Hamburger Meat ( Half and Half)
• 2 Eggs
• 3-4 slices of old toast or wheat buns
• 1/2 cup fresh chopped Chives
• 1/2 cup fresh chopped Parsley
• 1 cup finely diced Onion 1/4 teaspoon Oregano
• 1/4 teaspoon Paprika Salt and Pepper to your liking
• 1 fresh finely chopped Garlic glove
• (3-4 hard-boiled peeled eggs — filling surprise )

Take the toast and soak it in milk – after that use hands and press milk out of toast ( works better with buns)

Then give all ingredients into a large bowl along with the buns and crack in the two eggs — mix well once mixed try the raw mixture to see if its missing salt or pepper …

this done place in a casserole and form a loaf — then hide the hard-boiled eggs in the meatloaf —

best done going down the middle of loaf lengthwise add a Lil bit of oil in the bottom of casserole not much —

preheat oven to 350 F. place casserole into oven lower heat after 10 min to 275 – 300 F and let bake till Meat is all the way done about 45-60 min —

Cook Gravy of your choice and 5 min prior to removing the Meatloaf from oven, pour Gravy over it and let simmer for about 5 minutes— best served with homemade mashed potatoes or Noodles —
