Spring herbal quark

  • 3 cups low fat quark ( it is not cured cheese check the shelves in the dairy products should have the same name in the USA)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic pressed
  • salt & Pepper to our liking 
  • 1 cup fresh chives fine cut 
  • 1 cup fresh parsley fine cut 
  • Juice of 1 Lemon – freshly pressed 

optional 1 cup thinly sliced green onion 

in a large bowl using a mixer blend quark, yogurt, sour cream, and lemon juice until its smooth, then add all other ingredients using a spoon to lift it under the quark mix. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator before serving a minimum of 2 hours. 

Best served with baked potatoes or boiled salt potatoes.
